Airplane Homes

The Airplane House that Got Stuck in a Tree

No this isn’t a perfect crash landing, this is a real airplane that was turned into house. With a nice bungalow built into the plane’s side.

You have to admire the nice wood and the exquisite table for enjoying the outdoors from the side of your plane house, which isn’t so plain. ;-)

A wood-lover’s dream house, the interior of the the airplane house is all wood making it feel cozy and comfortable even when the pilot is asking you to put your seat in the upright position.

The Airplane House on the Hill

Plane house is located in Abuja, Nigeria, and is a house built by a husband to his wife as a proof of love to his wife who had asked him to build a house-shaped airplane.

Home, Sweet, Plane

This grounded Boeing 727 conversion in Oregon is nested sweetly in the trees and makes for some great conversation I would imagine.  With the original cost for the plane and engineering upgrades, this $200,000 home of 1,060 square feet provides shelter from all weather. I’m not to sure about the stack of boards holding up the front of the plane. One good wind and we are in for an emergency landing.

Airplanes make great home and apparently they also do well as boats.
