Considering Life In A Nautilus Seashell House

If you are looking for a house that will beat any other in a contest of eccentricity, try living in a seashell. The Seashell House, which was designed by Senosiain Arquitectos, is like none other. Some may find the uniqueness of such a house over the top. For the couple living in it, however, this comfortable seashell abode in Mexico City is simply home.

The design for the house was taken directly from the architecture of the well-known Nautilus shell. And why shouldn’t it be? If a Nautilus creature can live in such a shell, why shouldn’t a human being be able to do the same? In fact, considering the successful results of the design, it seems like more people should start living in a similar type of structure.

Perhaps the most amazing parts about this seashell house are its sturdy foundation and the unique benefits of its highly developed architecture. This is, of course, in addition to its virtually unmatched creativity in the design. Utilizing the vision of the Nautilus shell, the builders of this home created a home that is virtually unbreakable. With a ferrocement construction, which is an extremely strong method of reinforcing concrete with steel chicken wire, the home is safe from the potential harms of earthquakes and is in little need of any regular maintenance.

The facts seem to add up to show that more people should start considering their lives in a Nautilus seashell.
